My childhood in brief!
I was born in Pont-Audemer, in Eure, in the countryside. I moved to Le Havre around the age of 3, and grew up there. I had a rather turbulent childhood, full of ups and downs, but a very stable schooling. Curious as a child, I learned to read at 4 years old, I have always loved reading, I learned to cook, craft quite young alongside my grandfather. I dreamed of independence and he taught me everything he could so that I could be as autonomous as possible. By the way, that's his cat in the photo; I grew up surrounded by many cats, a few birds, and a dog for a while.
At eleven, already involved in online games, I took the username Yaume. It hasn't left me since, to the point where it’s now part of my identity, and more people call me by this nickname than by my real name.
My schooling was a source of stability; I always had good grades, but that didn't prevent me from dropping out of school. I left high school after a second S terminal because of burnout. After more than two years trying to find the reasons, I discovered the causes once I left high school: I have trouble with light, I get migraines easily, and so I struggle with living through the day. Starting to live at night, I naturally began to feel better.
Streaming
I was taking my life into my own hands, living at night, and I found a potential career path that was interrupted by the lockdown! So, after a burnout kept me stuck at home... I was again confined at home. I decided to combine two of my passions—talking and playing video games—by streaming on Twitch. Playing video games and creating live content, full of humor and funny moments, is exciting.
As a videographer, I started to develop my personal brand. A bird lover, my younger sister, ten years younger than me, used to draw birds for me, and one day she made me a silly-looking pigeon. I made a slightly adapted version to my tastes, and it has been improved with each iteration. Since I was to choose a cartoonish, fairly parodic pigeon, I also introduced a running gag I had with gaming buddies: "It's Yaume's fault." I'm naturally a joker, so when a few players in our group started to blame me for certain problems, we turned these accusations into jokes, and it stuck—so I made it my trademark!
Streaming motivated me to structure initial projects related to video, gaming, and content creation. As time went on, I wanted to become more professional. It was a real catalyst for me to learn many skills in this field, work independently, and engage with the community that was forming around me. And it's thanks to these encounters that one of them led me to meet Thomas.
Discovering Thomas and Tardix
After the lockdown, I worked in a nightclub for three years. There, I learned useful skills: improving my sales qualities, learning about customer service, and taking many opportunities to learn various nightclub professions. It was during my alternation between streaming and weekend nightclub work that I met Thomas at 4 a.m. I had just resolved a problem for a streamer who was a mutual acquaintance, and he came to see what we were doing. I then briefly discovered the Tardix project and the idea of launching a first video activity, which led Thomas to contact a streamer.
Eager to learn more, I planned to meet him a few days later to get as many details as possible. Without a doubt, that day was a major turning point in my life; I discovered the Tardix concept, and the more I looked into the details, the more I found arguments suggesting it could work. I then agreed to join this videographer company. It was an opportunity for me to engage in all activities I wanted to pursue in Tardix Audiovisuel—and even more.
Omuna
Shortly after creating Tardix, in April 2024, we established Omuna, aimed at structuring an ambitious team of videographers. Omuna was the name of the first company I wanted to create, and it’s an acronym—I'll let you guess what it stands for. In May, I took part in a medieval event; here’s a memento photo of me in medieval costume.
Within Omuna and alongside Thomas, I acquired valuable skills in business management, improved my IT knowledge, and accumulated a maximum of skills that will serve us in our activities.
My entry into Tardix
Demonstrating my skills and participating as actively as possible in Tardix, and at the time, in Tardix Audiovisuel—contributing to brand image creation, website development, and various tasks whenever opportunities arose—I secured my place in Tardix, and later, in managing the audiovisual part, which quickly became MainVision. The advertising division, originally separate, also interested me, so I integrated it into the audiovisual section to unify the creative parts. Since then, I have helped build the Tardix team and begun forming the MainVision team. I’ve contributed to naming most companies, and I continue to do so regularly, alongside content creation.
Today
Today, I am among the most active contributors in Tardix—whether through communication, managing MainVision, advancing website development, posting on social media, recruiting, or internal communication of the project. Being very sociable, being at the heart of activity is a pleasure every day; communicating with everyone, enabling each to progress, and presenting Tardix to anyone interested.
Socializing and connecting people is a passion; doing so within an exciting project makes it even better. As a result, in the course of passing information around Tardix, I am often called the carrier pigeon or the town crier!
And most importantly, don’t forget, it’s always Yaume’s fault!
